The Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA) is located in the campus of the Savitribai Phule Pune University. The general contact number of this Centre is +91-20-25604100.
This Centre is located approximately 15 kms. from Pune airport and 10 kms. from the main Pune railway station. Cabs and autorickshaws are always available for drop movements to IUCAA.
To enter the IUCAA campus, please use the Aundh-Khadki Gate which is the rear gate of the Savitribai Pune University. PLEASE AVOID USING THE MAIN GATE OF THE SAVITRIBAI PUNE UNIVERSITY TO ENTER INTO IUCAA CAMPUS.
The entry through the Aundh-Khadki gate is during 06:00 hrs. till 23:00 hrs. This gate remains closed after 23:00 hrs. till 06:00 hrs. the following day. If you are arriving during the closed duration, please call the IUCAA Akashganga security gate on +91-20-25604650 for a security guard to be sent to open this gate when you arrive.
